From a press release issued by USGPRU:

The USGPRU gathered on this fourth of July weekend for the third round of the west coast region. The 102 degree temperatures were not enough to stop race winner, Dan Jones, from setting a new 125 track record of 1:54:54! Dan barely beat out points leader, Erik Dadej, for the win. Erik led the majority of the laps, only getting passed by Dan on the last lap. Third place was captured by 14-yr-old, J.D. Schendel Jr.

Top qualifier, Carlos Neves, brought out a red flag when he crashed out in the turn three esses.

Full results as follows:

1 Dan Jones
2 Erik Dadej
3 J.D. Schendel Jr.
4 Stu Aitken-Cade
5 Jim Eckerman
6 Mike Orien
7 Jeff Lim
8 Darrel Baker
9 Phil Krenn
10 Marcus Henderson
11 Dale Whelan
12 Doug Moore
13 Carlos Neves DNF
14 Debra Kuick DNF

Round four of the west coast series will be held at Thunderhill on the weekend of 16-17 August.
