Review: “Hitting The Apex” Is A Movie Worth Seeing

The new Mark Neale flick “Hitting the Apex” is currently playing in selected theaters. We were invited to check out the Long Beach premier last night, as part of a kick off to the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show. As a huge fan of “Faster” and “Fastest,”  I went into Neale’s latest movie with lofty expectations.

Neale and his crew did not disappoint. Presented by and narrated by Brad Pitt, the film chronicles several years of MotoGP drama with fantastic camera work and engaging interviews, with everyone from a fan club founder to actual Italian clergy members!

Hitting the Apex does a great job of highlighting the super hero side of athletes like Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo, and Valentino Rossi, but it also portrays them as humans… capable of mistakes, ego, fear, and disappointment.

If you’re a fan of racing, do yourself a favor and check out Hitting the Apex at a theater near you. You can find one here: http://theatricast.com/hitting-the-apex/

Or order your own copy of movie on a disc set (including DVD and Blu-Ray) from www.HittingTheApexMovie.com
