Legendary Harley-Davidson dealer and tuner Don Tilley was seriously injured in a street crash about 100 miles from Calgary, Alberta, Canada Thursday.

According to long-time associate Cliff Nobles, Tilley was riding home to Statesville, North Carolina from a Harley-Davidson dealer convention when he ran off the road and crashed a 2005 Harley-Davidson Ultra Tour Glide Classic.

Nobles said that Tilley suffered multiple fractures of one hip and leg and remains hospitalized in Calgary, where doctors will keep him until his condition stabilizes.
