CMRA Hosts U.S. National Endurance and WERA Racing at Texas World Speedway Next Weekend

Next weekend, March 21 – 23, 2014, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) is back in action at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. Pre-entry for this event closes Thursday, March 13, 2014. Post-entry for the races is available at the track beginning 12 pm Friday, March 21, 2014.

The weekend schedule kicks off on Friday with the CMRA License School, racer practice and street-rider track day all provided by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Lightweight Sprint races followed by the “8 Hours of Texas” Championship Endurance race, which will combine CMRA, WERA, and the U.S. National Endurance Series (USNE). It will be the opening round for both the WERA National Endurance Series, and USNE, for the biggest endurance crossover event at Texas World Speedway since 1998.

A special podium awards ceremony and BBQ immediately follows the finalized results of Saturday’s endurance event. Special USNE event t-shirts will be available at the CMRA Merchandise Tent.

Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike Sprint races. We’re looking forward to a big turnout with great weather and riders and teams coming from all over the country!
