Edwards Hoping To Fight For Top CRT Position At NGM Mobile Racing Team’s Home GP

Home race for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing team at Mugello The fifth round of the championship takes the NGM Mobile Forward Racing team to Mugello. Claudio Corti, Simone Corsi, Mattia Pasini and their cousin from San Marino Alex De Angelis, look forward to their home race and want to make the sponsors and fans proud at the popular Italian round. After finishing the race right off the points at Le Mans Colin Edwards aims for top CRT positions with the FTR – Kawasaki. Teammate Claudio Corti was constrained to retire at the last GP and wants to make up for it at Mugello in front of the Italian fans. The Moto2 NGM Forward Riders Simone Corsi, Alex De Angelis, Mattia Pasini and Ricky Cardús look forward to this weekend´s race and expect the SpeedUp bike to be very performing at Mugello. The pressure in on and the riders aim to be in the top positions. Colin Edwards “It’s the team’s home race and after being so close to the points at Le Mans I would like to take some points and fight for the top CRT positions. Our sponsors and fans will be there and Mugello is one of the classics of the championship. Looking forward to this weekend’s race.” Claudio Corti “Being Italian I can’t wait to get to Mugello for the first time as a MotoGP rider. After the engine break at Le Mans I want to make a good comeback in front of the Italian fans. I want to improve not only my race performance but also have a good results from the very first free practice session on Friday. I feel ready, prepared, we are focused and we want to do a good race for our sponsors and my fans. It will not be an easy race; it being the home race always adds that extra pressure. Mugello is an amazing track but not an easy one, I look forward to getting there on Thursday.” Simone Corsi “This Sunday we ride at Mugello, one of the best circuits of the championship! Being Italian this is an important race for me, unfortunately we come to Mugello without the results we would have wished to but I remain positive and look forward to this weekend. Mugello is a track that I really enjoy this track and I think that our bike can be very performing at this track. I want to offer the team, the fans and myself a good result here.” Alex De Angelis “I can’t wait for this weekend to begin! Not only because its the home race, but because I am in love with this track. The bike is very aerodynamic and can be very competitive at a fast circuit like this one and this could be at our advantage.” Mattia Pasini “I am very excited for the Mugello race. After a very good weekend at Le Mans, a productive test at Estoril where we have gathered important data and the great work done by the team so far, i have to say that I feel confident for this Mugello weekend. Its the home race and I like this track. We will start off from the good base found at Le Mans and work from there.” Ricard Cardus “I can’t wait to get to Mugello, I really like this track. For me it is as if it was my home race because my team is Italian. We have a lot work ahead of us to in order to obtain a good result and overcome the problems we had at Le Mans, but I remain positive for this upcoming race.”
