We hope that by working with the seasoned team at eBay for Charity that we’ll be able to harness the energy of the film and the exhilaration of the Hypermotard to raise funds for this much-needed cause, while also allowing one lucky fan the chance to own some amazing Hollywood memorabilia.”

About the film:

In the action comedy “CHIPS,” written and directed by Dax Shepard, Jon Baker and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten-up former pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job—inside the CHP. The inexperienced rookie and the hardened pro are teamed together, but clash more than click, so kick-starting a real partnership is easier said than done. But with Baker’s unique bike skills and Ponch’s street savvy it might just work…if they don’t drive each other crazy first.

“CHIPS” stars Dax Shepard as Jon and Michael Peña as Ponch, along with Rosa Salazar, Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, and Vincent D’Onofrio. The film was produced by Andrew Panay and Ravi Mehta, and is based on the popular television series created by Rick Rosner. Robert J. Dohrmann, Nate Tuck, Rick Rosner, Michael Peña and Dax Shepard served as executive producers. The director of photography was Mitchell Amundsen; production designer, Maher Ahmad; editor, Dan Lebental; costume designer, Diane Crooke; and composer, Fil Eisler. A Warner Bros. Pictures presentation, an Andrew Panay Production, “CHIPS” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company. www.chipsthemovie.com.
