Sources close to Ducati revealed today that Ducati Corse wants its National Superbike teams to run Bridgestone tires in 2005.

Ducati Corse is switching its MotoGP program to Bridgestone and is asking all its factory-supported teams to do the same, including Ducati Austin.

Ducati’s factory team in the World Superbike series cannot switch to Bridgestone due to rules requiring the use of Pirelli tires.
