Cobb wins AHRMA Triumph Thruxton Cup Challenge Championship: On September 11 at Pueblo Motorsports Park, Ted Cobb won the inaugural Thruxton Cup Championship by winning Sunday’s race on his Charlie Benton tuned Thruxton, beating out 2nd place finisher Jay Springsteen. By clinching the Championship, Cobb, who works as a Sales Manager at Moto Britalia, will be provided a trip to England and $2,000 in cash, courtesy of Triumph, to view the factory where the Thruxtons are manufactured. “This series has been a great place to race the Thruxtons” said Cobb, “the level of competition was a little higher than I originally expected, but getting the chance to race and win against legend racers like Doug Polen and Jay Springsteen has been an experience of a life time!”
