Travis Ohge fights for AMA Championship with new sponsor Ryan Danger (Aurora, Oregon) June 1, 2012 Ryan Danger has signed AMA SuperSport rider Travis Ohge for sponsorship at the Road America round in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Travis Ohge got the attention of Ryan Danger after an impressive result in round 4 at Miller Motorsports Park over the Memorial Day weekend. “Miller went as well as we could have hoped for,” Travis explained. “We arrived on Friday morning to a complete change. I had a new bike, new team and a lot of work to do. We had high expectations after being fastest in the 2nd qualifying session in the wet on Sunday morning. During the race I didn’t have a bike setup that worked out but I rode as hard as I could to salvage valuable points for the championship.” Travis went on to say, “I am stoked to land the sponsorship from RD and look forward to representing them. I love the bikes they have customized and really dig their brands. A big thanks to Ryan Danger for making it possible to race this next round.” Ryan Danger commented, “I am really excited to partner with Travis Ohge for the Road America round. I was really impressed with the way Travis has ridden so far this year. Our collection of brands embodies passion, lifestyle and creativity. Travis’ efforts both on and off the bike represent this in every way. All of our products are inspired by motorcycles and are designed for the motorcycle community. He is a perfect fit for us.” Travis heads into round 5 of the SuperSport West Championship in 4th place overall. In addition to his newest sponsor Ryan Danger, Ohge has gained the support of several other sponsors who have stepped up to help. Vesrah and MCJ Motorsports will help campaign a Suzuki GSXR-600 for the remaining rounds of the AMA season. Wanker’s Corner, a local café in Ohge’s hometown of Aurora, Oregon, has helped with sponsorship as well. Travis continues to represent his long standing sponsors Arai Helmets, Puma Boots, Penske, Traxxion Dynamics, Pilot Leathers and GoPro. “I want to thank HBSK Racing, Vesrah, Justin Tabor, Joey Pascarella, David Blakeney and everyone who came together at the last round to make it possible to race.” said Ohge. “And I appreciate Meen Motorsports for helping me through the first few rounds of the AMA season. I wish them and their riders the best of luck.” About Ryan Danger: Ryan Danger is the founder and proprietor of several brands that embodies the motorcycle lifestyle. Danger Customs creates new and innovative approaches to the custom sportbike market and specializes in Ducati platforms; garnering a 1st place finish in last year’s Ducati Monster Challenge. Ryan’s other brands include specialty lifestyle products and fine art. For more information visit www.facebook.com/rdryandanger
