Jeff Johnson here, the NOT-retired-yet racer and VIR flagger. Attached are pictures I took showing some of the 2015 VIR track updates.

The first four pictures are of the curb improvements. They finally ground the sharp leading edge off of the old original curbs—the ones that would easily remove your knee sliders or knee caps. Jason DiSalvo will be the happiest to hear about this.

Some of the new, lower (1.5-inch high) curbing has been added to riders’ right between Turns Two and Three, riders’ left at the top of the roller coaster, old Turn 14/new Turn 10 and on riders’ right just past old Turn 15/new Turn 11.

There has also been a lot of new paint put down at pit-in, pit-out and on the outside of the curbs at Turn Three. Rule #1 is, stay off the paint!

Thanks for listening and keep up the great work.
