Wyatt Farris, in his debut race of the Daytona 200, brought his TSE/MD Racing, Pirelli mounted Yamaha R6 to a podium finish, finishing 3rd place.

“I have many positives to take away from my first Daytona 200,” said Wyatt. “I learned so much riding with those guys at the front and was just trying to keep it smart, stay in contact and be there at the end. It sucks we had a mechanical towards the end of the race but that’s the nature of the beast around that place. I’m happy to have been able to bring it home in third and get a solid result for the team and sponsors. I have to give a big thank you to everyone at TSE/MD Racing/Pirelli tires for not only busting their butts all weekend long, but for also making the weekend possible! I also would like to thank my personal sponsors for the continued support: CT Racing, Above Category Cycling, Shoei, Alpinestars, Penske Shocks, Jason Pridmore’s Star Motorcycle School, Mach 1 Motorsports, Defy All Odds Apparel and Motion Pro.”

“The TSE/MD Racing team couldn’t be more ecstatic with Wyatt’s finish,” said Mark Stiles, team owner and crew chief. “We knew coming into the weekend that a podium finish could be possible, but Daytona is an animal in itself and anything can happen. We knew 13 laps from the end something was going on with the bike because Wyatt’s lap times were off the pace. Meghan [Ryan], who was out in the signaling area, started giving Wyatt the gap back to 4th place so he knew he had the cushion to back it down and bring it home. We are grateful that the motor held together and that Wyatt was able to finish the race. The whole crew deserves a congratulations as well for the hard work they put in, along with the flawless pit stop they had.”

The team would like to thank their sponsors for all their support: Trackside Suspension & Engineering, MD Racing, Bliss Machine LTD., Pop Shadow Decals, Pirelli, Penske Racing Shocks, SBS, Zero Gravity, Vortex and Galfer.
