Indian Motorcycle Announces “Honoring Heroes” Program For Military Personnel

Minneapolis, Minn. — Indian Motorcycle®, America’s first motorcycle company, today announced “Honoring Heroes,” a new incentive program designed to recognize and reward all military personnel for their purchase of any of the all-new Indian Chief motorcycle models.

The Honoring Heroes program extends a $1,000 cash back incentive to all U.S. and Canadian Armed Forces personnel toward a new Indian Chief motorcycle, and will run through 2014. The program is available to all active, reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel. To take advantage of the $1,000 incentive customers must simply visit any Indian Motorcycle dealership throughout North America and present valid military identification. Today’s announcement follows on the heels of two other Indian Motorcycle initiatives created to reinforce the company’s steadfast support of military personnel and their families. The “Stars and Stripes Saturday Sponsored by Indian Motorcycle” program provides U.S. military personnel free admission to any of the upcoming Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows (IMS) courtesy of Indian Motorcycle. Also, in partnership with Jack Daniel’s and the Armed Services YMCA, Indian Motorcycle has customized and donated the ‘No. 7’ serial number off the production line of its 2014 Indian Chief models to the “Operation Ride Home” program for the benefit will benefit military families. The No. 7 custom bike will be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson, one of the world’s leading auctioneers of classic vehicles, at its Scottsdale, AZ auction, which runs January 12-19, 2014.

Military personnel across the country are invited to visit the Indian Motorcycle exhibit at any of the upcoming IMS events to learn more, or to take advantage of this special program.
