Daytona Bike Week: ​More Than 20 AMA-Sanctioned Events Scheduled

Event kicks off 2019 AMA National Gypsy Tour

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The 78th Annual Daytona Bike Week features American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned events for riders, racers and motorcycle fans of all ages.

Daytona Bike Week runs from March 8 through March 17. Those attending are encouraged to get involved in the many AMA events taking place in Daytona Beach, Fla.; other Florida venues in Barberville, Brooksville, Ocala and Palatka; and Pooler, Ga.

The 2019 AMA National Gypsy Tour kicks off during Daytona Bike Week. AMA members can visit the AMA tent at Daytona International Speedway from March 8 through March 16 to pick up their 2019 AMA Gypsy Tour pin by showing their membership cards.

Bike Week attendees also can sign up for an AMA membership and donate for a chance to win this year’s AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame raffle bikes, celebrating the career of AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Nicky Hayden, at the AMA tent.

For those who want to get an early start on the action, Dixie Dual Sport has scheduled its 23rd Annual Devil’s Creek ride for March 1-3, starting in Brooksville, Fla. For more information, visit www.dixiedualsport.com/devilscreek.

Friday, March 8

The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series, an AMA National Championship, begins its two-day event with off-road ATV racing in Palatka, Fla. For more information visit www.gnccracing.com.
