ASRA/CCS Is Racing At Blackhawk Farms Raceway This Coming Weekend

This coming weekend, May 18-19, the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) and Championship Cup Series (CCS) will host racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. The track is located 2 hours northwest of Chicago, 15 minutes off of I90. Racers will take to the 1.95 mile, seven turn course as they compete in a wide variety of classes.

Gates open Friday at 5 p.m. ASRA/CCS registration and tech will be open Friday from 5-7 p.m. in preparation for Saturday’s racer practice, and licensing clinic by Learning Curves Race School. The Pirelli Trackday Challenge will also be on track throughout the day, an opportunity for potential racers to become familiar with a typical race weekend experience. The final event Saturday will be round three of the 2019 ASRA Team Challenge presented by Michelin and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association starting at 3:30.

Sunday, the action continues with a full slate of races scheduled all day. The twenty-five minute GT races will kick off the day, while the eight lap sprint races will begin just after the lunch break.

Starting on Friday, tickets for a weekend pass are only $35, reduced to $25 on Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. The gate will be operated 24 hours.

The American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) is the parent organization to the Championship Cup Series (CCS), the largest amateur motorcycle road racing organization in the United States issuing over 2800 licenses per year.
