PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA members attending the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas on April 19-21 at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, will receive special member benefits at the race. AMA members who call the Circuit of The Americas’ hotline at (512) 301-6600 and purchase the AMA ticket package and give their AMA number will receive half-price VIP motorcycle parking, and a special pit walk Friday, April 19, at no additional charge. The track will email pit walk details to qualifying ticket holders. Circuit of The Americas’ Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Geoff Moore said it was only fitting that AMA members enjoy unique benefits at the MotoGP. “As the country’s most dedicated motorcyclists, whether they are enjoying the open road or competing in a local amateur event, AMA members bring a passion to the track that can’t be matched,” Moore said. “We’re pleased to offer these benefits as a way to thank them for their support of the AMA and the rights of America’s motorcyclists.” Established as a World Championship by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme in 1949, MotoGP is now into its 64th year. It is the pinnacle of motorcycle championships in the world and the premier-class of three racing classes that take to the track on a typical Grand Prix weekend. MotoGP’s reach extends to more than 200 countries and territories that receive live or same-day delayed broadcasts of the MotoGP events, with the coverage delivered to more than 337 million households worldwide. About the American Motorcyclist Association Founded in 1924, the AMA is a not-for-profit member-based association whose mission is to promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling. As the world’s largest motorcycling rights and event sanctioning organization, the AMA advocates for riders’ interests at all levels of government and sanctions thousands of competition and recreational events every year. The AMA also provides money-saving discounts on products and services for its members. Through the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio, the AMA honors the heroes and heritage of motorcycling. For more information, visit www.americanmotorcyclist.com.
