As on every weekend, MP was full of pedestrians that stand right in the middle of the trail... that are oblivious to their surroundings (i.e. large objects barreling toward them at excessive speeds) :P Fun ride nonethless.

Clear and cool, the trail is well worked in (very little rain), with a few new ruts and just a few hikers to get in the way. Two runs in the rocks at the top, then a smooth ride to the bottom.

An afternoon session, a ton of hikers made for a slow run, but it was an awesome Cali weather day, clear and just about 70 degrees, plus the trail was well packed. A pretty good ride.

A very cold run from the top, ice and frost was very different to ride and play in, trail still well packed and very fast.

A very cold morning, even iced up puddles near the top, a packed and wet trail, the best part, no hikers. Good fast blast from the top, then home to get warm.

A two run session from the top, did a double run in the rocks, the Super-8 just eats up rocks, then high speed to the bottom.

A cold and clear morning, empty trails, pretty packed singletrack and my Super-8 totally dialed in, what more could you ask for. Just wish I could I get a ride to the top, that pushing stuff is starting to get old. An hour of pushing for 5 minutes of riding, oh well that's the price you pay to DH.

A sunset ride, with the last part of the dh in the dark, did not bring my lights so it was a little slower pace than normal, still had a blast. Trail needs more rain to pack it down.
