#TBT to when @bregantephoto collected some really incredible shots of me on a bike, which have been far and few between over the winter... Because I'll be honest with you -- it's fucking tough to work a couple of jobs and train and shoot and even think about living. It's also tough to take pictures every time I ride. To be honest, that's not what I'm thinking about when I'm out there. And I know most of you don't give a shit about the politics I post elsewhere, or my selfies, but I do. I think it's easy to see athletes as people with these incredible lives who eat, sleep and drink bikes (or whatever their sport is), but I think it's important to look at people as human and part of a whole. Because that's what I am: a whole person. I'm not always going to post what you all want to see, and it might not get me IG fame or glory, but I'm okay with that. I'm not here for that. I don't do what I do for that. I do what I do because I love it and I'm passionate about whatever I'm involved in.
