I love Hollister!!! So many trails, so little time!!!! The trails are family friendly and fun, and if you can find the Troll Trails, you can add technicality to your adventure. If you're a track person, the MX tracks are amazing, and for easy fun, try the Lodge track! Got to love it! Trials guy? Give the Trials track a shot. It's right next to the lodge track and a blast.
The Good:
One way trails, mostly smart people
The Bad:
One looooooong drive there, but it's worth it
Tips:
Make sure to go early and leave early, Traffic sucks...

Hollister Hills is one of the best OHV park around. There is a great variety of trails from smooth, easy ones to tight technical single track. The Vintage Track is also good track to improve your outdoor skills on.
The Good:
A great place for a fun family ride or an intense training day for a pro.
The Bad:
In the Summer it's super dusty.
Tips:
Going early in the morning makes for some great trail riding.

Good place, but small. I've been on every trail there, including the fairly new Renz Property. Closes huge portions of the park for little rain, though
The Good:
Variations of tracks, good trails
The Bad:
null
Tips:

We had a great time. The trails seem endless and this is a great spot to improve riding ability or just have a great time with friends. We will go again.
The Good:
awesome trails and spectacular views. Very pretty area and tracks are fun
The Bad:
a little crowded after mid day and parking is limited. The main mx track needs a split session or a better mini track for more experienced mini riders would be great
Tips:
go early so parking is not an issue. is open from sun up to sun down

We had a blast. This is a great spot to spend a day. A huge variety of terrain and challenges. This is a spot that we will be back to if even to just get away from the desert for a day or 2.
The Good:
Great variety. Very fun single track trails to enhance skills. Tracks are fun and well taken care of.
The Bad:
The main road to and from the parking areas gets watered heavily to keep dust down. This makes a huge mess of your ride and is very slippery. The tracks are very crowded and there are no split sessions for mini's. The mini track is great for beginning kids but another mini track for more experienced kids would be awesome since there are no split sessions on the main MX track.
Tips:
If you are just planning a day trip, go early and leave early.

Awesome Variety you could spend a whole day riding just the tracks, and never get bored, or you can ride on the seemingly endless miles of trails that offer everything from groomed fire road type trails to insane elevation changing single track.

Hollister Hills is a proper riding spot!
The Good:
Vintage Track! Pete's Path/Jay's Way, Renz Property, Faultline Powersports literally has every part you could possilby break as well as snacks and gear
The Bad:
Even a little rain can close sections due to muddy conditions. The MX track is usually super hard packed and not very groomed
Tips:
Call ahead for trail conditions, bring a cooler full of BBQ materials & small grill for a killer lunch!
