ZARS Shootout And Rider Challenge Race Results From High Plains Raceway

Deer Trail, CO (July 18) – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held the 2018 Shootout Championship and Rider Challenge Championships Series and Track Day Event, July 14-15.

The event was held at High Plains Raceway in Deer Trail, Colorado. The Shootout Series attracted several top riders including Shannon Moham. The series presented by Dunlop BMRacing awarded over $800 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the classes.

On July 14, Shannon Moham had a great start and put on a dominating performance and took the win for GP 3/4 Expert with runner up Andrew Schrems in a close 2nd place.In the Novice ranks, Justin Miest was victorious for GP 3/4 and Dan Parker took the win for GP 1/2.

In the expert class, Brad Morris was victorious on July 15 for GP 3/4 with runner up John Borst. In the Novice ranks, Justin Miest claimed another victory for GP 3/4 and Kyle Franz won the GP 1/2.

ZARS continues to broaden the riding opportunities with the Rider Challenge for experienced Track Day riders. In GP 3/4, James Etie won on July 14 and Jeremiah Fischer won on July 15. In GP1/2, Bob Halpert rode strong to back-to-back victories, including 1st overall on July 15!

ZARS returns to Brainerd International Raceway (Minn.), July 30, to ride North America’s fastest turn on the Donnybrooke Road Course, followed by a debut to Blackhawk Farm (Illinois) on August 17, prior to a CCS race weekend.
