Friction Racing Products owner John Chen and Fastrack Riders owner David Pyles are sponsoring an event with The Dare to Be Project founder and Olympic medal-winning cyclist Amber Neben to donate bicycles this Christmas to Southern California students participating in a program for the academically challenged.

Fundraising will take place at the next Fastrack riders event on October 25/26, 2014. Raffle tickets will be sold with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the cause.

Raffle items include: Dunlop US Slicks/DOT tires, Fastrack Riders event passes (good thru end of 2015), Chicken Hawk Racing tire warmers, and others. The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 in the riders meeting room. Winner need not be present to win.

Donations can be made at the www.thedaretobeproject.org website directly. Please donate $XX dollars and $.99 cents – the “$XX.99” amount will signify that your donation is for this special event. Donations are tax deductible.

Riders can also sign up to help assemble bikes prior to delivery to the school. The build date and location will be announced. Contact John Chen at [email protected] for more information or to purchase raffle tickets if you will not be attending the upcoming Fastrack event.
