Nick Ziepfel, of Hamilton, Ohio, won the eighth "Jason (DiSalvo) Against the World Contest," presented by Heroic Racing Apparel. The contest, featured in Roadracing World magazine as part of Jason DiSalvo's "Jason Against the World" column and on Roadracingworld.com, ended April 30, 2011. Ziepfel's name was drawn randomly, and he won a pair of Heroic SP-R Pro gloves.
Ziepfel races his 2009 Honda CBR600RR as WERA #59 Expert and also participates in track days.
Ziepfel was excited about winning the Heroic gloves and said, "Winning these gloves is awesome! Heroic is well-known throughout the paddock as a reputable company that offers great products!"
Todd McNabney, Owner of Heroic Racing Apparel, was also glad to see Ziepfel win the gloves. "I'm excited to be able to offer these gloves to Nick through this contest. Supporting the industry is exciting and racing in New Zealand...wow! That is every rider's dream. Best of luck with the new gloves, Nick. Keep reading Roadracing World!"
