Updated Post: Chris Ulrich Wins GTO Race At Daytona

Roadracingworld.com's Chris Ulrich came from row nine on the grid to win the GTO race at Daytona International Speedway Friday, taking the lead in the run from the chicane to the finish line on the last lap.

The race, originally scheduled for 30 minutes, was cut to five laps following a crash at the start of the warm-up lap.

Josh Hayes, who started on row 11 in the second wave, finished fourth; 48 riders started the event.

Chris Carr and Mike Himmelsbach, using the event as practice, started well after all the other riders had left the grid and finished 17th and 18th, respectively.
