Alexandria, VA – May 28, 2015 – MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 competitor Taylor Knapp, who is currently in second place in the Championship points standings, has been secured by TOBC racing to compete aboard the #44 Yamaha YZF-R1 Superstock 1000 bike for the remainder of the 2015 season. In addition, 22-year-old rider Gabe Miller has joined the team and will be competing in the KTM RC Cup that kicks off this weekend at Road America. The announcements were made by Michelle Lindsay, owner of TOBC racing.

“We are thrilled that this partnership has come together with both Taylor and Gabe,” commented Lindsay. “We feel that Taylor has a solid chance to win the Superstock 1000 Championship this year, and we’re going to do everything we can to help him get there. As for Gabe joining our team, we’re very excited to give him this opportunity and to continue the mission of former TOBC team owner Jon Couch to develop young riders and launch racing careers for the next generation of riders.”

Taylor notched his first professional road racing victory in Superstock 1000 Race 1 at VIRginia International Raceway two weekends ago. He is sponsored by Yamaha, Sportbike Track Time, Gimoto, Arai Helmets, Ride 100%, Hotbodies, Thermosman, and Apex Mfg.
