MotoGP™ extends partnership with Telecom Italia through 2016
MotoGP™ commercial rights holders Dorna Sports extend sponsorship agreement with Telecom Italia through to the 2016 season.
The commercial rights holder of the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship, Dorna Sports, and Telecom Italia have extended their partnership through to the 2016 season.
As of this year the Misano round of MotoGP™ will carry the title Gran Premio TIM di San Marino e Della Riviera di Rimini, with the 2015 and 2016 events also due to be titled as such.
Meanwhile, the Gran Premio d’Italia TIM will also continue to be named as such through to the 2016 season, further to the extended agreement between Dorna and the Italian telecommunications company for the iconic Mugello round.

We are very pleased to announce this new three-year title sponsorship of the Misano round as well as the extension of the title sponsorship of the Italian Grand Prix. We believe the TIM brand is a perfect match with the technologically advanced image and content of MotoGP.”
