Upper Arlington, Ohio, March 29, 2103

Oxford Consulting Group (www.oxford-consulting.com) an information technology services and solutions company with offices in Central Ohio and the United Kingdom will once again support Team Ohio Racing / Veterans Empowered Through Motorsports (TOR-VETM) in 2013. With the assistance of the Wounded Warrior Project, the team’s objective is to actively engage and empower disabled combat veterans through their motor sports efforts.

TOR-VETM and Oxford Consulting Group partnered for two races in 2012. Through TOR-VETM’s unique outreach program, both look to continue positively impacting combat veterans in 2013. TOR-VETM recently supported two XR1200 entries at Daytona with great success, and will use Oxford Consulting Group’s support to assist disabled combat veteran outreach in upcoming AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson races.

“What we witnessed during the 2012 events was phenomenal,” said Michelle Kerr, president of Oxford Consulting Group. “To see these veterans in action, expertly supporting the race teams, and to hear about their feelings of accomplishment, confidence and empowerment that resulted was such a rewarding and inspirational experience. We truly look forward to helping Team Ohio Racing extend this excellent opportunity to other veterans in 2013.”

Team Ohio Racing’s Founder Pete Cline added, “I reached out Michelle prior to first event at Daytona. Oxford Consulting helped with our pilot programs in 2012, and has experienced firsthand how our program positively impacts combat veterans. Oxford Consulting Group’s dedication to disabled combat veteran outreach is invaluable, and their direct support will allow our program to have a presence in the AMA paddock in 2013.”
