Riders for Health's 2012 "Day of Stars": An exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at MotoGP
Riders for Health, the official charity of MotoGP, and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, have announced that 50 VIP guests will spend the day meeting MotoGP stars, touring the MotoGP paddock, and discovering the stunning Carmel Valley. Day of Stars is held on Thursday, July 26, before the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. And, as well as getting your race weekend off to the best possible start, you will be raising money for Riders for Health.
This fantastic, day-long event is hosted by grand prix legend and co-founder of Riders for Health, Randy Mamola, who will be your guide to an entertaining insider's view of the world of MotoGP.
Only 50 tickets are available, making this an extremely exclusive and intimate event. Day of Stars always sells out early, so make sure you don't miss out. To secure your ticket for this memorable event, please call Lisa at 312-373-1447 and order your tickets by credit card or check. Or you may order your tickets online at . Day of Stars begins with a beautiful motorcycle tour of Carmel Valley. You will then return for a catered lunch before taking an exclusive tour of pit lane with 13-time grand prix winner, Randy Mamola. In the afternoon, you will take to the track as you ride two parade laps of the famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit, before heading back to the Turn 4 suite for interviews with team managers, MotoGP riders and special guests.
In previous years, guests have met such Grand Prix champions as Kenny Roberts, Eddie Lawson, and Wayne Rainey, as well as MotoGP stars Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Colin Edwards, Ben Spies, Alvaro Bautista, Tony Elias, Cal Crutchlow, Randy De Puniet, Mika Kallio and Loris Capirossi. The day concludes with an amazing live auction of MotoGP memorabilia. The MotoGP riders will be on hand to autograph and auction off some truly unique items with all the proceeds going to Riders for Health. Admission to the auction is free so even those not coming to the whole day can take part.
