Rome, Georgia (USA), January 20, 2015 – What do all of these new bikes like the KTM 390 RC, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CBR300 and the Yamaha R3 have in common? They all feature 3.00-17 (3.25-17) and 4.00-17 sized wheels and Pirelli offers excellent DOT race tires for all of them.

Tire Sizes

IP 2303400 Diablo Supercorsa V2 110/70R17 54W TL SC1

IP 2333500 Diablo Supercorsa V2 150/60R17 66W TL SC1

IP 2303700 Diablo Supercorsa V2 150/60R17 66W TL SC2

As these motorcycle manufacturers have increased performance they have also increased rear wheel and tire sizing and Pirelli has World Superbike derived racing DOT tires that perfectly compliment these applications.

“With the news of KTM and Yamaha importing new bikes we have adjusted our inventory levels to make sure club racers will have plenty of tires for the 2015 race season”, stated Jeff Johnston, Pirelli’s North American Roadracing Manager.” But we have not forgotten about the older Ninja and CBR 250s that came with the 3.50 size rear wheel. New for 2015 is the Diablo Supercorsa V2 140/70R17 66W TL DOT rear in a special SC2 compound, and these are projected to be in the US by late February. Pirelli is proud to offer an extensive range of road racing and track day tires and our commitment to Roadracing worldwide is the same for a small bike racer or someone riding a fully developed 1000cc Superbike”.
