Carolina Motorsports Park
Kershaw, SC

Kershaw SC - The 2nd round of the AMA sanctioned ASRA Team Challenge Championship was a clinic in domination as the Performance Speed Tech team out-ran the field at Carolina Motorsports Park on April 10th. With Jason Farrell aboard the PST Kawasaki, the Wisconsin based team led all 65 laps and left the championship hopefuls to battle over second place. Defending Team Challenge Champion Chester Auto Repair, with Eric Helmbach handling the riding chores, was able to get his BMW back on the lead lap late in the race but was only able to get within 44 seconds of the winner. Third position went to the RnR Repsol team, with Rick Beggs and Terry Taylor sharing the riding, 1-lap down to the race winner. The top three Overall were also the podium finishers for the GTO class. Chester Auto Repair leads the Overall Championship by 9 points over RnR Repsol and 11 points over RnR Racing after round 2 of 8 in the series.

The GTU class win went to RnR Racing with Jason Gibbens riding their Kawasaki 600 to a 1-lap victory over XRay Racing's Yamaha R-6. Foy Brothers Racing finished in third. The win moves RnR Racing into the championship lead by 3 points over Christian Meekma's XRay Racing.
