Introducing MotoGP™: the Arcade Game

New arcade game gives fans the chance to lean into every corner – and line up on a MotoGP™ grid as their favourite riders

Dorna Sports and Raw Thrills are thrilled to announce a new arcade game based on MotoGP™ – allowing fans to get on the seat of riders such as Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez and enjoy the thrills of the world’s fastest motorcycle racing Championship.

The game, from industry frontrunners Raw Thrills based in Illinois, allows fans to line up against up to eight of their friends, locally or online, or race the best of the grid as they lean into the corners of some of the world’s most beautiful racetracks – enjoying every second of the race in stunning HD. A mounted fan even simulates the speed of MotoGP™, and the state of the art engine replicates perfectly the incredible forces of riding a a motorbike over 300km/h – allowing fans closer to MotoGP™ than ever before.

“Capturing the speed, action and drama of MotoGP in an arcade video game was no small task. Thanks to the great team at Dorna, we were given everything necessary. From first meeting to the final product, this was our best experience as a licensee and we are very excited to work with the MotoGP brand for many seasons to come!”, commented George Petro, President Play Mechanix/Raw Thrills.

On the other hand, Pau Serracanta, Managing Director, Commercial Area – Dorna Sports, declared: “This new arcade game is another fantastic innovation for fans, allowing them to enjoy MotoGP™ in a different way; closer to the action than ever before. The thrill of MotoGP™ is completely unique and this is an incredible way for fans and their friends to get into the seat of their favourite rider.”
