MWGP Releases 2015 Schedule expanding to 5 tracks in the South West!

MotoWest GP racers will enjoy a true regional series with 8 rounds at 5 distinct racetracks in 2015. In conjunction with TrackXperience, MWGP will hold the first ever motorcycle road race at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch! MWGP racers will be able to enjoy five distinct race tracks with 3 rounds at the 2.5 mile course at Willow Springs, two different configurations at Spring Mountain including an exciting 3.1 mile course, Streets of Willow and a round at Buttonwillow.

Greg Nulman, Owner and CEO said “When we took a staff trip to Spring Mountain and saw the country club like facilities, ample run off, smooth surface, seemingly unlimited configurations and proximity to hotels and dining in Pahrump Nevada, we knew Spring Mountain had to be on our 2015 schedule. We plan to run two separate configurations there next year, and with rounds at Buttonwillow, Streets of Willow and the 2.5 mile course at Willow Springs. Each year I hope to expand to offer more challenges and regional competition to our racers, while still maintaining the historic Willow Springs 2.5 mile course as our home track”

James Morse of TrackXperience commented “Jim Hoskins and I have been working with MWGP since late 2013 to bring racing to Spring Mountain. For racers that have never been to SMMR they are going to love the smooth track surface and fast challenging courses. The guys that have made this their home track over the last 10 years, will have an opportunity to put up a good fight against some of the fastest guys at MWGP. The last few years have been challenging for the race community in the South West. Having MWGP host races at 5 tracks all within reasonable distance is a great jumpstart to the race community and TrackXperience is excited to play a small part in that.”

TrackXperience will host the Saturday practice sessions with two groups for racers and one group for street riders. “We cannot thank James Morse and Jim Hoskins of TrackXperience enough for facilitating our ability to host two rounds at this world class facility. They have sponsored MWGP since our first round and we are excited to continue to grow this relationship with a professional organization committed to the success of road racing in the south west!” said Niccole Cox, Operations Manager.
