JRi SHOCKS LOOKING TO CHANGE THE INDUSTRY

Mooresville, NC – JRi Shocks is preparing for the next step in the company’s evolution and intends on changing the industry for sport bike shocks. This strategy compliments the incredible growth the company has been experiencing over the last several months. With Tucker Rocky now carrying the company’s 12” and 13” Harley Davidson shocks, Artic Cat now choosing to use JRi Shocks as OEM equipment for their Wildcat 2&4 seat UTV as well as the Wildcat Sport, and two world records just delivered in drag racing with legend Rickey Gadson (Real Street 7.70) and Bud Yoder (Pro Street 6.83), the company is now ready to deliver the next big product in the metric sport bike market with the STREET FIGHTER shock.

THE STREET FIGHTER SHOCK

Since the inception of the aftermarket shock industry, no designer or manufacturer has been able to put together a truly affordable shock that can win at the regional level and meet the challenges of privateers across the country. JRi Shocks is now providing the highest performing, low-cost shock ever seen in the sport with the STREET FIGHTER shock. Developed through analyzing JRi’s extensive winning dynamometer library, the development team at JRi Shocks put together a shock that provides incredible traction, improved speed and performance, all while respecting the racer’s budget.

Developed at tracks in North Carolina, Virginia, Texas and California, the STREET FIGHTER has run at track record speeds, posted fastest lap times in premiere expert races and won several premier amateur racing events. Racers now have a performance advantage that is easy on the wallet. The latest winner to use the STREET FIGHTER shock was Corey Sarros. After winning the Moto West Open Superbike race at the Streets of Willow with intense competition Sarros stated, “This shock is sick! I couldn’t get the back end to break loose. The feel and performance for the price is unbelievable. I have used shocks that cost $1500.00 or more that didn’t perform half as good as the STREET FIGHTER.”

Praise and appreciation of the STREET FIGHTER shock has come from all levels within the industry. From track day riders to licensed professionals, the product is consistently acknowledged as a “No compromise solution that happens to be inexpensive”. With integrated compression and rebound adjustment, over 90% of the riders out there will be able to easily tune their own shock. The STREET FIGHTER shock comes in two styles; the integrated nitrogen reservoir and the remote reservoir model. The remote reservoir model is also upgradable to a double or triple adjustable model.

IMPROVING THE MC/10 MOTORCYCLE SHOCKS

The JRi MC/10 Shock is already established as a premium product. With hundreds of wins and numerous track records, there was never any doubt about the product. Designed by Jeff Ryan, the MC/10 already offered a huge performance advantage with 30% less Hysteresis, 48% less dynamic rod force, and 35% lower friction/side loading events.

In April, the company set out to improve performance and racer satisfaction. Utilizing the new Pro-Valve System, the MC/10 shocks now provide improved on-track performance, approximately 25%-50% longer tire life, and a much more compliant ride. The Pro-Valve System introduces high flow at low speed operation with improved high speed damping characteristics. This optimizes traction as the rear tire stays consistently planted during the critical “drive” out of the turns. To ensure we hit our mark, we reviewed the shocks performance with a team of no-nonsense riders including Army of Darkness, BEi Racing, Corey Sarros, Eddie Thornton, Derek Wagnon, and several other accomplished racers. The results were multiple track records, race wins and very happy riders.

SUPPORTING ROAD RACING

For 2015, JRi Shocks is looking to elevate their involvement in the industry. JRi will be offering a full contingency schedule across the country, provide contingency programs for AFM, CCS, CMRA, OMMRA, WMMRA, CRA, LOUDON and USBA. The program will provide over $100,000 in available contingency for 2015 and is scheduled to run for the next several years. Any road racing club is welcome to contact JRi Shocks to become a part of this great program. Details of the program will be posted over the next few weeks on JRi’s website.

DEALER STRUCTURE

Customers of JRi Shocks can always purchase directly from the Mooresville, NC manufacturing facility. They can also choose to purchase from one of several dealers among the JRi Dealer Network. JRi Shocks has been fortunate to be involved with several dealers that are performance and results driven. KFG Racing, SB Suspension and On-Road/Off-Road have been recognized as “Platinum Dealers”. This designation can assure JRi Shock’s customers that their Platinum Dealer has access to all of the latest technical information and actively engages the Mooresville office in order to provide the best and latest technologies in the JRi Shocks they sell. JRi Shocks thanks Barry Wressell (KFG), Ken Hall (SB) and Roger Albert (OROR) for their great representation of JRi’s products. Their dedication to not simply selling a product, but providing all levels of service and support for their customers provides the value that not only improves the individual customer experience, but the industry as a whole.

JRi SHOCKS…NOW AND THE FUTURE

JRi Shocks is focused on performance that meets the needs of the marketplace. It has developed the technology to ensure superior performance and is now committed to delivering this technology in products that customers want and need.

“We have a great opportunity to dramatically increase our market presence,” said Marcus McBain, Motorcycle Market Manager for JRi Shocks. “Over the past six months, we have done a market wide product and technology review. It is critical that our technology be showcased in our products and that we deliver products that lead the marketplace. We completed this step in the Harley and Drag Race markets. The results have been overwhelming, setting two world records in Pro Street and Real Street with our motorcycle drag products. Our Harley shock has evolved into a technological and performance masterpiece and now we can focus on the road race/metric street bike market. The STREET FIGHTER shocks provide advanced features that were normally only available in our premium shocks, while our MC/10 shocks will still continue to push the technical envelope. It’s a win for the customer both on and off the track.”
