Speed Academy Announces 2014 Dates
Kingston, GA - Speed Academy has announced its 2014 schedule. The racetrack-based performance riding school is run by Daytona 200 winner Jason DiSalvo, along with former AMA Pro Racer and current Triumph Racing crew chief Brian Stokes Speed Academy will be visiting NOLA, Road Atlanta, Barber and Road America, all of which have been stops on the AMA Pro Roadracing calendar. Also featured is JenningsGP in Florida, which is a favored off-season testing and training facility used by many professional teams.
Of the seven events offered by Speed Academy in 2014, five will be held in conjunction with Sportbike Track Time weekends. These dates are one-day schools, allowing students the opportunity to sign up for class on Saturday, Sunday or both. Each day's enrolment is limited to five Intermediate level riders and five from the Advanced group.
The other two Speed Academy weekends will be standalone events, where for an entire weekend, the only participants are students and staff. These private, intensely focused standalone classes have been described as "An intense environment of high performance rider training." Both standalone dates will be held at Jennings GP in Florida and are limited to twenty students total. Due to the unique format of this program, riders of any skill level from beginner to AMA Pro can be accommodated.
