CMRA Awards Banquet Scheduled for January 20, 2018

The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) will hold its Annual Awards Banquet and Season Kick-Off Party on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Blaine Stone Lodge in Midlothian, Texas.

Saturday night’s Award Banquet is a chance for the CMRA to honor the 2017 season Champions and present Special Awards to other club supporters. One of the Special Awards each year, is the induction of an individual or individuals into the CMRA Hall of Fame.

The CMRA Hall of Fame was established in 2002 to honor those CMRA members who have made significant contributions to the CMRA organization through their time and efforts, or who started their careers with the CMRA and have brought positive exposure to the organization through their National and International racing championships.

For 2007, the CMRA is excited to induct The Hayden Family into the Hall of Fame. World Champion and 2002 CMRA Hall of Fame recipient, Kevin Schwantz, will be our special guest presenter of the Award.

In addition to the Awards Banquet on Saturday night, there is a whole weekend of activities planned.

CMRA guests have access to a Thursday through Sunday pass to TexPlex Park, a thousand-acre development which includes mountain bike and dirt bike trails, a BMX park, Dig This excavators, a Live Fire Simulator, jet boats, and shooting clays. Information and reservations: www.TexPlexPark.com

The CMRA Third Annual Golf Tournament is Saturday morning at Pecan Trails Golf Course. Players and spectators alike are welcome to enjoy the fun and competition between the rivaling teams. www.PecanTrailsGolf.com
