From a press release issued by Tom Shields of RPM Racing, Inc., the Texas-based WERA affiliate:<BR><BR>At Round 5 of the RPM/WERA series, John Haner broke the Hallett Motor Racing Circuit Oklahoma record. One month later, Haner decides to show he is the man in the Texas region. John Haner broke the Texas World Speedway 2.9 mile course (Sunday, August 19) by almost 2 seconds, rounding the track at 1:42.85. Haner rode his Stubbs Cycles/H&H Motorsports Suzuki GSX-R750 in the A/Open Superstock class and on lap 2 blistered the record. John Haner is currently the top rider in Region 5 Suzuki points.
