OWENSBORO, KY - It's November 14th and that means we are just about halfway through "Movember." If you are asking yourself what Movember is, it is a month when men can be men and grow facial hair to help raise awareness and support for prostate and testicular cancer. Women are involved as well, taking photos with a makeshift mustache or wearing a mustache necklace.

For the past two years AMA Pro Racing commentator Greg White has had his own Movember team "Motorcycle Riders" that you can sign up for and join at to help promote and donate towards the cause. This year Greg has joined forces with AMA Pro Daytona SportBike rider JD Beach to raise money and awareness.

The Movember cause is extremely personal to both White and Beach. Greg found out three years ago that his stepfather was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is living with his cancer, but doctors keep an eye on the cancers progression with a biannual checkup. Just this year, JD's father was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, the cancer was detected early and the doctors were able to remove it. JD and his father credit early detection as the key to a healthier life.

When JD committed to the Movember Motorcycle Riders Team, he brought some trophies (Yes, trophies, not prizes, because we are Motorcycle Racers) for the top three donators. Thanks to Bell PowerSports, there will be a brand new Bell Star Helmet (Matte Carbon) for the winner. Second place can pick between the Alpinestars boots JD wore when he got on the podium at NOLA Motorsports Park, or a pair of Cameron Beaubier's Cortech gloves that he wore during his fantastic season this year. Third place will get whichever trophy second place does not pick.

The way you win is simple. Anyone who donates money to JD Beach within the next 16 days (ending 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 30th) on his Movember page will be eligible. The person who donates the most amount of money will be awarded the Bell helmet, the person who donates the second highest amount of money can choose from the boots or gloves. The person who donates the third most amount will receive the last trophy in the bunch.

You can donate to JD Beach on his Movember page: . All donations to JD's page will also benefit the team.

ABOUT MOVEMBER: During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo's, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

Once registered at, men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men's health.
