Crescent Suzuki is pleased to announce that FIXI PLC will continue its commitment as the team's title sponsor for the 2013 Superbike World Championship.
Crescent first joined forces with one of London's leading independent Forex companies in 2011 as a partner for its British Superbike team. FIXI then made the step up to WSBK with the Crescent squad in 2012, initially as a partner, but then expanded its involvement to become the title sponsor, a position that FIXI is pleased to retain next season.
This is a major step for the Crescent team which will continue to be known as FIXI Crescent Suzuki - and ensures its full participation with two riders in the 2013 season. Team Principal Paul Denning will be taking over the day-to-day running of the team for next year and an announcement of rider line-up will be made very soon.
FIXI PLC is an independent brokerage house based in the heart of London's financial district and offers a worldwide service for its clients from offices in Chicago, Singapore and Hong Kong which gives it a complete global coverage. Paul Denning Team Principal:
"The commercial world isn't getting any easier, and therefore we are delighted to have secured FIXI's continued partnership into 2013. Our job now is to repay the faith that Richard and his co-directors at FIXI have demonstrated, and to develop the performance level further from the greatly improved base we now have. Equally, we need to help FIXI with a range of off-track activities that will assist the awareness and understanding of their business in different markets across the world. This is one very important step towards the GSX-R1000 becoming a true contender in WSBK once again, and on behalf of Crescent and Suzuki we thank FIXI for its trust, and look forward to some exciting times in 2013 together."
Richard Wynn CEO, FIXI PLC:
"FIXI is delighted to be continuing the title sponsorship with the Crescent Suzuki team for 2013 and we are looking forward to making the partnership an even stronger and more successful one for both parties. We knew it would raise our profile and introduce FIXI to new markets when we took on the role as a title sponsor of a premier World Superbike team and that has certainly been the case. We are now looking forward to cementing the relationships we have made this year and searching out new markets through our involvement with the team and WSB series.
"The high speed and latest technology that is on show at WSB gives a direct comparison with our own industry. Forex is a fast-moving industry and we need to be as sharp as possible to make sure we don't miss what is happening, similar to how a rider needs to be when competing on the race-track. WSBK is a fantastic platform for FIXI and after a year of ground-work it was an easy decision for us to remain and carry on with what we have started. The Crescent guys are a great team to work with and FIXI is pleased to be associated with them."
