Final Round Of CCS/NJMP Sportbike Championship Happening This Weekend

Final round of NJMP SportBike Championship this weekend, Sept. 9-11, 2011

Event: Final of four rounds of the 2011 NJMP SportBike Championship, sanctioned by the Championship Cup Series. Prior rounds were held in May, July and August 2011.

Where: 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway, New Jersey Motorsports Park, 47 Warbird Dr., Millville, N.J. 08332

Friday, Sept. 9, 2011

7 a.m. Gates/Registration/Tech open

8:30 a.m. Practice as follows:

· Group #1: Amateur MW, HW, UNL Classes & SuperTwins

· Group #2: All Ultra Light, Lightweights, ThunderBikes

· Group #3: Expert MW, HW, UNL Classes & SuperTwins

11:30 a.m. Lunch break

12:30 p.m. Practice as follows:

· Group #1: Amateur MW, HW, UNL Classes & SuperTwins

· Group #2: All Ultra Light, Lightweights, ThunderBikes

· Group #3: Expert MW, HW, UNL Classes & SuperTwins

· Group #4: Team Challenge

1:55 p.m. Atlantic Team Challenge race (140 laps, 4 hour time limit)

6:00 p.m. Endurance race ends
