Many road racers train on a human-powered two-wheeler. If you’re one of them, Easton Cycling has a new wheel set that offers a high-tech combination of aluminum and carbon-fiber. Each EC70 SL wheel has a 42mm deep EC70 carbon-fiber cross section connected to an EA90 aluminum rim bed—a configuration that the company calls highly aerodynamic. The wheels come with a machined aluminum braking surface and combined weigh 1660 grams. Suggested retail for a pair of EC70 SL wheels starts at $1500.
