Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CVR) has opened a new motorcycle flat track and is now selling VIP Motorcycle Memberships, according to Director of Sales/Co-Owner Micky Grana.

The new hard clay motorcycle flat track opened during this past weekend’s (March 31-April 1) Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association (CVMA) race event, and Roadracingworld.com was given an exclusive first look and first ride.

At present, the track is set up in a TT configuration without a jump but with several turns, both left and right. But because CVR has dedicated nearly two acres for its flat track, the track can be changed into a number of configurations.

The track will be open to small-displacement off-road bikes fitted with street-style rear tires. No rear knobby tires will be allowed.

Grana said CVR plans to host open riding sessions, riding schools and maybe races on its new flat track, and access to the flat track and loaner motorcycles are just some of the many benefits offered with CVR’s new VIP Motorcycle Memberships.

Other benefits that come with the purchase of a VIP Motorcycle Membership include: 15 or more member-only ride days per month (including two weekends per month), free access to SoCal Track Days events (including exclusive track access during lunch breaks), two free CVMA race entries per event, private use of the road course whenever it isn’t booked for rental (with advanced notice and ambulance fees the responsibility of the member), guests allowed to ride on member-only days (fees apply), complimentary overnight RV/Camper parking in the paddock during events, complimentary long-term outdoor trailer storage, discounts on cabin rentals and CVR apparel, and access to a dedicated member service concierge.

VIP Motorcycle Members will also be given the option to buy land to build a home, garage or hangar at CVR or to purchase one of the 12 new garages/hangars CVR is planning to build.

Additionally, CVR has plans for a second paved road course. The new road course will be over three miles in length with a longer main straightaway than the current course and hard braking zones. Like the original 2.68-mile road course, the new course will also be able to be run in both directions, clockwise and counter-clockwise. It will also be possible to link both road courses to form a single track, but most of the time the tracks will be run separately.

The cost of a lifetime VIP Motorcycle Membership is $20,000 with $10,000 due at signing and the other $10,000 due when the second road course is completed. In addition, there will be annual dues in the amount of $3,300 or $275/month. This pricing structure is only available to the first 30 members, and there will only be a total of 100 VIP Motorcycle Memberships offered.
