HAYDEN SCHULTZ JOINS RICKY PARKER ON THE CHILI PEPPER RACING TEAM IN AMA PRO VANCE & HINES HARLEY-DAVIDSON XR1200 SERIES

Chili Pepper Racing is proud to announce that young gun Hayden Schultz will be joining 2009 AMA Pro Racing SuperSport [West] champion Ricky Parker on the Chili Pepper Racing team to contest the 2014 AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XR1200 series. The team will kick off its 2014 campaign next week at the world-famous Daytona International Speedway.

“Chili Pepper Racing is pleased to welcome up-and-comer Hayden Schultz #59 to our Vance and Hines XR1200 program as we ‘double-down’ for 2014. Hayden is such a talent with a promising career in front of him, and I’m honored he chose to partner with us for 2014. Something tells me both he and the team are headed to the next level in AMA Pro Road Racing and I could not be happier to work with such a mature and focused young racer. Past AMA SuperSport West champion Ricky Parker #96 returns with us to Daytona, and has some unfinished business on the high banks to take care of. This should be fun!” said Chili Pepper Racing team owner Chris Richardson.

Sixteen-year-old Hayden Schultz will be starting only his second season of AMA Pro Racing when he grids up at Daytona. “I’m excited to be part of a team that I can trust to put me on the best equipment for the XR1200 class,” said Hayden. “I think we have a great team that will be competitive all season, and we’ll be able to run up front consistently. I can’t thank Chris (Chili Pepper) enough for the opportunity to ride with them.”

Former AMA Pro champion Ricky Parker had a rough start at Daytona last year with a DNF, but the season progressed well from there. Ricky said “I’m so ready for the 2014 season to kick off! I haven’t ridden in a while and I’m ready to drag some knees and elbows. I’m also super-pumped about Hayden joining the team. It will be interesting to see what this young kid will deliver this year. My gear is all packed up and ready, so Daytona here we come.”
