BT Racing Takes Top Endurance Spot in CMRA Season Opener at MSR Houston

BT Racing won the overall in the CMRA Championship Endurance aboard their Yamaha YZF-R1. Team Lillegard/Muse took the overall in the Ultra-Lightweight Team 60 race aboard their YZF-R3s in the opening rounds of the Championship Big Bike Endurance series and Lightweight Team 60 this past Saturday, February 10, 2018, at MSR Houston.

Saturday morning, racers were welcomed to a flooded paddock and lakes in the infield. There was an hour and a half delay due to on-and-off downpours that obstructed the vision of the racers. Nonetheless once the storm lifted everyone put their heads down because there was racing to be done. The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) Saturday schedule began with Mini and Lightweight Sprints, the first round of Ultra-Lightweight Team 60, and finished up with the 4-Hour season opener of the CMRA Championship Endurance Series, bringing a great day of racing to Angleton, Texas.

The Mini and Ultra-Lightweight Sprint grids ran first, for the Grom Challenge, Formula 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Superstock E Expert and Novice, Junior Motard, 500 Superbike, and Ultra-Lightweight GP Expert and Novice mini and lightweight sprints.
