Fort Worth Texas – The Championship Cap Series would like to announce changes in our event operations at New Jersey Motorsports Park. These changes will be instituted for all three events CCS has scheduled at NJMP and hopefully will streamline the weekend experience for all racers, crew, family and staff members attending these events.

The biggest change is that CCS has agreed to pay the all inclusive camping and electric fee to cover our event weekends at NJMP. This will reduce the overall cost to each racer who camps or uses the facility electricity ,so instead of the $30 to $50 cost per weekend for camping and/or electricity, each rider will now pay just a flat $10 fee for the weekend. This increase will be reflected in the entry fees for NJMP, with pre-entries increasing to $90 for the first pre-entry and $95 for the first post entry. The post entry increases will take effect at the opening event on May 2-3 with the pre-entry increase effective for the July event. These increases will also affect ASRA, Team Challenge and USGPRU competitors who do not have CCS entries.

The other important change starting with the May 2-3, 2015 event at New Jersey Motorsports Park, is that CCS will now work with Absolute Cycle Experience to rent the garages for the event. Using our unique relationship with ACE, we have agreed to make your garage rental a cooperative effort. For those riders only running on Friday, it’s rental as usual with ACE. For those racers staying for all three days, ACE or CCS can handle your rental requests. If you are only racing with CCS on the weekend, you can submit your rental requests to the Fort Worth office or at the track. Top priority will be given to riders who rent for three days, then to racers who are staying the weekend with the remainder of the units rented to ACE only participants. Standard garages with electricity will be $50 per day or $140 for the full event. VIP garages, (under the VIP Suites), will be $65 per day or $185 for the event. Weekend rentals, (Saturday and Sunday only), will be allowed to move into their unit after 7:30pm on Friday evening.

“It is good to hear CCS decided to offer a discounted and streamlined option for NJMP services.” Said Roy Cadoo, CEO of Absolute Cycle. “Absolute Cycle Experience offers free camping on its track days, and will extend that offer on Thursday night before the Friday’s practice to CCS racers as well. It is great to see organizations finding ways to make this sport affordable to its riders.”

“Our goal is to make the rider and the racer’s time with ACE and CCS at NJMP a smooth and enjoyable experience and we hope these changes will be a huge step in the right direction for all our customers.” added CCS President Kevin Elliott.
