Update: Peggy Swalls contacted me this morning to let me know that IMS track management has come up with a compromise solution for MotoGP premium ticketholders.

For Saturday only, we can visit the ticket office or one of the ticket trailers before leaving the track. They will punch the ticket, which will allow one re-entry into the track.

Not a perfect solution in my mind, but better than nothing. Peggy also mentioned that they will be reviewing and refining the ticket policy for future GP events.
