2018 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days features racing, swap meet, bike shows, family fun

America’s premier vintage motorcycle event scheduled for July 6-8 in Lexington, Ohio

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, the nation’s premier vintage motorcycling event, brings racing, bike shows, live music, seminars and motorcycle attractions to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 6-8.

The annual event, now in its 28th year, is the largest fundraiser for the benefit of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

“AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days brings motorcyclists together in the nation’s heartland,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. “This event offers something for everyone, from track racing to trials, from bike shows to North America’s largest motorcycle swap meet. If you love motorcycles, no matter what your age or experience, this is the place to be in July.”

The AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Swap Meet, brought to you by Federal Motorcycle Shipping, brings hundreds of vendors together to sell, buy or trade bikes, parts and memorabilia.

The event also features the AMA Vintage Grand Championship, which features road racing, motocross, hare scrambles, trials and dirt-track racing.

Entertainment includes the American Motor Drome Wall of Death, bike shows, live music and stunt shows.

Current production bikes will be on hand for display and demo rides.

And informative seminars are scheduled to keep you informed.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is a family-friendly event. Children 12 and younger get in free with a ticketed adult. Free parking is also available on site.

Proceeds from AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days benefit the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. The mission of the Hall of Fame, located on the AMA campus in Pickerington, Ohio, is to tell the stories and preserve the history of motorcycling’s legends and heroes.
