Cypress, CA - December 4, 2013 – In celebration of Yamaha’s best year ever in AMA Pro Road Racing, two of its 2013 Champions and fan favorites will be on-hand this weekend at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, California, which will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center not far from Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA’s headquarters.

2013 AMA Pro Road Racing SuperBike Champion Josh Herrin and 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing Daytona SportBike Champion Cameron Beaubier will both be signing autographs and greeting fans during four scheduled appearances at the Yamaha display this weekend. In addition to the two riders, Yamaha will also have Josh’s #1 Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike and Cameron’s #1 Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha YZF-R6 Daytona SportBike on display for up-close looks and photo opportunities.

This Friday evening, December 6, from 6 to 7 PM, Josh and Cameron will be featured at the Yamaha display alongside Yamaha’s 2014 models, which includes the all-new FZ-09. Then, on Saturday, December 7, Josh and Cameron will return to the Yamaha display for three more autograph sessions: 11 AM to 11:45 PM, 2 to 2:45 PM, and 4 to 5 PM. Posters will be provided for the riders to sign and hand out free to the fans in attendance.

And, as an added bonus, Josh and Cameron will be accompanied at the autograph sessions by Monster Energy Girls Mercedes Terrell and Bridget Jones. So, be sure to have your camera at the ready to snap some memorable photos of the Champs and their Umbrella Girls.

“With three National Championships in the three AMA Pro Road Racing classes in which Yamaha is eligible to compete (SuperBike, Daytona SportBike, and SuperSport), 2013 was Yamaha’s best year ever in U.S. road racing competition,” commented Bob Starr, General Manager of National Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. “We’re proud to have two of our Champions, Josh and Cameron, on hand at the Long Beach show to meet the fans, sign autographs, and talk about their successful seasons.”
