AHRMA to Feature Special WWII-era Handshift Shootout October 6 at Barber Motorsports Park

GOODLETTSVILLE, TN — The inaugural American Historic Racing Motorcycle Assn. (AHRMA) “Shootout at the Barber Corral” will take place at 5:00 p.m. on October 6, 2018, during the 14th Annual Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, AL.

This special race will feature Pre-1940 Grand Prix and Class C Handshift Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles racing head-to-head in a “Cowboys vs. Indians”-style shootout. Riders will draw for grid positions and run a two-lap heat race; the grid will be reversed from the original draw, and a second two-lap race will run. The rider with the best combined score will be declared the winner.

Sponsored by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Palmetto State Armory and CoHo Rentals, LLC, the race features a $2200 cash purse, with $1000 going to the winner.
