Zemke Takes AMA Superbike Pole With New Lap Record Of Mid-Ohio

Parts Unlimited PJ1 Erion Honda’s Jake Zemke took pole position for the AMA Superbike double-header at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with a lap of 1:26.376 during final qualifying Saturday. It was Zemke’s third pole position of the season and his third pole in the last five events. Zemke’s time also eclipses Mat Mladin’s old lap record (1:26.498, set in 2001).
