Following his retirement from AMA Superbike race one at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Erion Honda’s Jake Zemke has decided to pull out of the second Superbike race and Formula Xtreme finale scheduled for later today.

“I’m pretty beat up from yesterday,” Zemke told Roadracingworld.com, referring to his crash in Friday morning’s Superbike practice. “I couldn’t get the bike where I needed it to go, and mentally, I couldn’t quite focus like normal. So we’re pulling the plug for the next two.”

Zemke qualified on pole position for Formula Xtreme.
