ZARS Shootout And Rider Challenge Race Results From Brainerd

Brainerd, MN (July 13) – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held the Shootout Championship and Rider Challenge Championships Series and Track Days, July 9.

The event was held at Brainerd International Raceway on the Competition Course. The Shootout Series attracted several top riders including Jake Schmotter, Jon Champ and Kyle Ohnsorg. The series presented by BlownConcepts.com awarded over $600 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the classes.

On July 9, Jake Schmotter battled with Kyle Ohnsorg in the GP 3/4 Expert to take the win. In the GP 1/2 Expert class, Jon Champ had an intense battle with Kyle Knutsen, but ultimately took the checkered flag.

In the Novice ranks a battle ensued with Patrick Wagaman and Joseph Mastain in GP3/4. In a close finish, Wagaman took the win home with Mastain finishing respectively in 2nd and Martin Holte in 3rd.

ZARS continues to broaden the riding opportunities with the Rider Challenge for experienced Track Day riders. In close battles, PR Stafki claimed another win in dominating style in GP4 and Andrew Tolzman took home his first win in GP3!

ZARS heads West to the Rocky Mountains next weekend! ZARS returns to High Plains Raceway (Deer Trail, Colorado), July 23-24, for an epic weekend of riding and more. Many MRA racers are expected to attend and fill the grids for the Racer Shootouts! Later this summer, ZARS returns to Brainerd International Raceway (Minnesota) on Labor Day, September 5.
