Supercross to Air on SPEED Channel in 2005-2006 and Beyond AURORA, Ill.(Aug 17, 2005) Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division announced today they signed a five-year agreement with SPEED Channel to broadcast the THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series. As part of the agreement THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series will be positioned as the premier motorcycle property on SPEED Channel and supported by an aggressive national on and off-channel promotional campaign. In 2005-2006, the 250cc races that air on SPEED Channel will receive next-day original airings. The 125cc race will be shown later in the same week. The relationship will utilize the substantial resources of Clear Channel Entertainment Motor Sports and SPEED Channel to generate synergy and maximize efforts for the most successful television package the sport has ever seen. The on-air promotions and joint marketing efforts will be significant. Although SPEED Channel will be the exclusive carrier of THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series, there is an option for Clear Channel to air several of the 250cc shows on a major broadcast network.
